John Wayne Brown Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Wayne Brown of Appleton City, Missouri, who passed away on December 10, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Marie Brown; his brother-in-law Bob Hellwig; his niece Cheyanna Hellwig Koshko; his brother-in-law Jim Shouse; and his niece Kelly Shouse Pennington.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Shouse; his children, Jeremy Brown (Tracy) and Heidi Braning (Tom); his grandsons, Jackson and Lincoln Braning; and his siblings, Carolyn Hellwig of Butler, Missouri, Steve Brown (Brenda) and Don Brown (Nancy) of Appleton City, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to Wayne's Grandsons' Education Fund (checks c/o Tom Braning) or to Round Prairie Baptist Cemetery.
