With sadness, we share the passing of Michael W Barber of Appleton City, Missouri. Michael, born on January 18, 1947, passed away on November 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald E. Barber and Virginia Foster; and his stepfather James Foster. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Barber; his children, Michele Burnett (Phil) and Eric Barber; and his grandchildren, Avery, Rylan Burnett and Tyler Barber. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 213 W 6th St, Appleton City, MO 64724. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at 20109 Business Hwy 13, Higginsville, MO 64037.

The family has requested memorials be made to the Disabled American Veterans Association.
