She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas MacArthur Newsom; her daughter Patricia "Trish" Newsom Brinkley; her parents, Louia Pohlman and Delores Ann Moffitt Pohlman; and her brother Gary Pohlman.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Katryn Brinkley (Katherine), Nicholas Newsom, Nathan Gonz (Lindsey) and Jake Brinkley (Tamara); her great grandchildren, Emmett, Hudson and Cooper; and her siblings, Larry Pohlman (Vicki), Sandy Uelhof (Rick) and Penny Pohlman. She is also survived by loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cole Family Funeral Home (210 E Reynolds St, Ironton, MO 63650). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials and donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Alice's honor.
