With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marvin Atkinson of Archie, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 21, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Francis and Audrey Hazel Atkinson (Vansandt); his sisters, Edith Marie and Orma Jean; and his grandson Seth.
He is survived by: his children, Josh Atkinson (Kim) of Richards, MO, John Anderson of Archie, MO, Paul Anderson of Kissie Mills, MO, Deann Shipley (Dale) of Archie, MO, Leann Gerken (Jimmy) of Pleasant Hill, MO and Tressa Atkinson of Archie, MO; his brother Leo Atkinson (Wilma) of Archie, MO; and his grandchildren, Allanna, Alisha, Austin, Cara, Makayla, Bailey, Miles and Hunter. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
