He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomas Lyon, Sr. and Katherine Helen Griesel Lyon; and his daughter-in-law Marcia Lyon. He is survived by: his wife Naomi Stevens; his children, Greg Lyon of Armstrong, Matthew Lyon (Valeri) of Armstrong and Becky Breid (Sammy) of Paris; and his brothers, Donnie Lyon of Overland Park, Larry Lyon of Holliday Island and Ovid "Boosie" Lyon of Armstrong. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
