She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvil Ward and Janie Penrod Ward; her grandson Dennis Daugherty; and her siblings, Junior Ward, James Ward, Russell Ward, Durham Ward, Lonnie Ward, Charlie Ward, Polly Dempsey and Ellene Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Charlotte Jurczyk of Crestwood, Glenda Costello (Ronald) of Arnold and Reta Dismang of Festus, Missouri; her grandchildren, Alicia Seidler (Toby), Sarah Adams (James), Miranda Skaer (Andy), Craig Ordaz (Angela) and Melody Stewart (Bill); and her granddaughter-in-law Sara Daugherty. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mathis Funeral Home - Dexter (125 W Stoddard St, Dexter, MO 63841). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
