She was predeceased by : her parents, Alvie Hughes and Lexie Ann Hughes (Long); her husband Stanley Copeland; and her sons, Jerry Hughes and Randy Copeland.

She is survived by : her son Steve Copeland; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Copeland, Christopher Copeland, Daniale Thorton, Jana Copeland, Stacie Copeland and Matthew Copeland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
