He is survived by: his wife Susan Kay Barker; his sons, Brent Scheer (Angela) of Ashland, Ryan Scheer (Melissa Scheer) and Christopher Scheer (Kristy) of Dardenne Prairie; his grandchildren, Kade, Jacey, Allie, Lainie, Kealie and Landrie; and his brothers, Harold Scheer (Eunice) and Mark Scheer (RuthAnn) of Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
