He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Sue Miles; his son Joseph William Perkins, Jr.; and his parents, Clifford Perkins and Joann Perkins. He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Perkins, Jimmy Perkins (Debbie) and Jenny Foster (Lee); his sons, Larry (Amy) of Neosho and Tony (Tracy) of Columbia; and his grandchildren, Haley, Braden, Zachary and Ella. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to The Nashville Baptist Cemetery in Ashland.
