He was predeceased by: his son Shane; his parents, Arley and Betty; his mother-in-law Dorothy Whiteside; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Dunegan, Randy Jensen and Judy Dunegan.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Perkins; his sons, Mark Perkins (Stephanie) and Jason Perkins (Cathleen); his siblings, L. J. Perkins (Brenda), Carla Jensen and Claudia Lynch (Rick); his grandchildren, Scott (Bailey), Shelby, Kylie, Isabella, Lars, Logan and Emily; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Forrest and Elizabeth; and his pets, Brandy and Dudley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nashville Baptist Church Cemetery (355 W Nashville Church Rd, Ashland, MO 65010).
