He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth "Kenny" and Shirley; his mother-in-law Judy Doehring; his sister-in-law Paula Forck; and his grandparents, George, Julia, Bernard and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his wife Krista Lause; his children, Ella Lause of Augusta and Kolten Lause of Augusta; his brothers, Ben Lause (Leslie) of Beaufort and J. J. Lause (Jen) of Beaufort; his stepmother Regina Lause; his father-in-law Jim Doehring of O'Fallon; his brother-in-law Mitchell Forck of Lake St; and his nieces and nephews, Josie Meyer (Joshua), Brady Lause, Alexa Lause, Jack Lause, Max Lause, Liam Chandler, Adam Chandler, Tanner Forck (Bailey), Owen Forck and Hailey Forck. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Union Fire Protection District, Augusta Fire Protection District, or Immaculate Conception Church.
