It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Myers of Aurora, Missouri, born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on March 16, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Hubert Jackson and Hazel Marie Tharp (Jones); her close friend Vernon "Maurice" Myers; and her siblings, Jackie, Larry, Frankie and Mark Tharp.

She is survived by : her children, Linda Jean Vannostrand (Whaley), Karen Colleen Whaley, Timothy Paul Whaley, Shelly Robin Thompson (Myers), Kim Renee Bowerman (Myers), Carol Denise Parnell (Myers) and Jeffery Allen Myers; her siblings, Kenneth Tharp (Kenny), Bennie Tharp, Connie Presley, Cindy Robins and Terry Tharp; and her pet Baby. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
