She was predeceased by: her parents, Salina Pendergrass (Brisco) and James Pendergrass; and her siblings, Charlotte Ormsby (Wayne), Sharon Huse (Lonnie), Calvin Pendergrass (Melissa), Rick Pendergrass (Betty) and James Pendergrass.

She is survived by: her son Derrick Rose (Raph) of Cranford; and her sister-in-law Connie Pendergrass. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and a wide circle of friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carolyn's memory to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, honoring her deep affection for animals.
