She is survived by: her children, Shane Lewis of Monterey, California, Tonya Lewis of Aurora, Missouri and Roger Isaacson (Mary Kay) of Aurora, Missouri; her brother Ronnie Hauk of Rome; and her grandchildren, Jason Lewis, Toni Fernandez, Emily Brennt, Joanna Lewis, Andrew Lewis, Joshua Lewis, Joe Lewis, Reyes Lewis, Cody Isaacson and Hannah Isaacson. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
In a fitting tribute and one last nod to her profession, Jean chose to donate her body to medical research, in the hope of helping the next generation of caregivers.
