It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Jean Williams of Aurora, Missouri, who passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cleek and Opal Cleek (Davis); her husband Robert Snipes; and her siblings, Aaron, Bill Cleek, Lenora Wiley and Martha Vermillion.
She is survived by: her children, Deryck Maples (Fran) of Bradenton, FL., Darren Maples of Aurora, MO., Pam Hickson (Bruce) of Columbia, TN. and Susan Vanderhoof (Mark) of Marionville, MO.. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peterson Funeral Chapel (229 W Church St, Aurora, MO 65605). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
