He was predeceased by: his parents, John Coones and Ernestine Hill Coones; and his sister Ginger Bertoglio. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Jamie Coones, James Merritt, Mitch Merritt, Mamdi Anderson, Brandy Malpas and Samantha Landry; and his siblings, John Coones (Janet) and Judy Coones. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren other relatives and friends.
