He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Childress and Lucille Childress of Aurora; his brother Bobby Childress of Aurora; and his daughter Victoria Archer of Republic. He is survived by: his siblings, Ronnie Childress (Diana) of Aurora and Linda Mooneyham (Randy) of Republic; his sister-in-law Cherry Childress of Aurora; and his wife Maxine Jones Childress of Cape Fair. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
