With sadness, we share the passing of Walter Wayne Wethy in Aurora, Missouri. Walter, born on December 26, 1957, passed away on September 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter H. Wethy and Avis Annetta Barton; his stepfather Evertt Beers; and his grandparents, Harold, Mary Wethy, Virgil and Goldia Barton.
He is survived by: his former wife Doris Wethy (Creech); his children, Elisha Wethy of Springfield and Jason Wethy of Rolla; his granddaughter Lexis Noll; his great grandchild Macie of Rolla; his granddaughters, Khloe Noll of Crocker and Rubie Rude of Thayer; and his siblings, Virgil (Sharon) of Portage, Donald Wethy of Rolla, Travis and Rose Farmer (Ted) of Springfield. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and family.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Macedonia Baptist Church (15524 Co Rd 2110, Rolla, MO 65401).
