With solemn reverence, we commemorate Roy R. Zumbehl of Auxvasse, Missouri, whose life came to an end on July 22, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Zumbehl and Iona Zumbehl (Bruns); and his brother Howard Zumbehl. He is survived by: his wife Jean Scott; his children, Gayle Hofeling (Gary) of St. Paul, Thomas "Tom" Richards of Auxvasse, Douglas Richards (Beth) of Warrenton, Stephen Zumbehl (Paula) of St. Charles and Patrick Zumbehl (Casey) of Wellsville; and his siblings, David Zumbehl of Jefferson City, Donald Zumbehl of Benton City, Joan Brengle of O'Fallon and Sharon Bishop of Middletown. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pickering Funeral Home (403 N Western, Mexico, MO 65265). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grand Prairie Baptist Church (104 N Main St, Auxvasse, MO 65231).
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Grand Prairie Baptist Church.
