Bernice Lorene Golson Obituary
We bid farewell to Bernice Lorene Golson of Ava, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 6, 2025 at the age of 95. Bernice touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Stone and Fern Stone (Naugle); her husbands, Herman Gibbs of Vienna, Missouri. and Ernie Golson; and her grandparents, William Jasper, Sarah Elizabeth Stone (Baker), Thomas Edward and Ida Mae Naugle (Harley).
She is survived by: her sisters, Barbara Morgan (Stone) of Clarksville and Sandra (Stone); and her sons, Roger Epps (Sharlotte) of Tuttle, Edgar Epps of Belton and Steve Epps (Michelle) of New Braunfels, Texas.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, a step-granddaughter, 22 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home (3132 Tri City Dr, Newcastle, OK 73065). Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home - Ava (407 N Mansfield Rd, Ava, MO 65608). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Clinkingbeard Chapel (407 N Mansfield Rd, Ava, MO 65608).
