It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Burney Lakey of Ava, Missouri, born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd Lakey and Mable Lakey (Loftin); and his siblings, Leila Riggs (Glen), Mary Ann Wheeler (George), Lyle Lakey and Troy Lakey.

He is survived by : his wife Norma; his daughter Amber Lakey; his grandchildren, Annabel, Atlas and Zoey; and his siblings, Kenneth Lakey and Brenda Potter (Ronald). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
