It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eddie Sanders of Ava, Missouri, who passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Sanders and Beulah Vaughan Sanders; his wife Sharon Vinson; and his siblings, Karen Conley, Steve Sanders and Kenny Sanders.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Sanders of Ava, Missouri and Greg Sanders (Jackie) of Olathe, Kansas; his grandchildren, Alexis Derritt of Lawrence, Talan Sanders of Olathe and Leighton Sanders of Olathe; and his siblings, JoAnn Welker (Rod) of Ava and Jake Sanders. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Clinkingbeard Chapel (407 N Mansfield Rd, Ava, MO 65608).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Douglas County Historical Museum.
