We announce the death of Elmer Lee Hamor (Ava, Missouri), who passed away on October 20, 2026, at the age of 74. Elmer will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer J. Hamor and Ella Hamor; his sisters, Joyce and Betty; his wife Helen Marie; his daughter Ellen; and his grandson Coy.

He is survived by: his siblings, Darrell, Cathy, Martha and Wanda; his children, Dalton, Denise and Sherry; his son-in-law Wade; his grandchildren, Matthew (Danielle), Josh, Shawn, Kristen (Louis), James-Andrew, Alicia (Charles) and Nikky (Richard); his great grandchild Victoria (Aaron); his granddaughter Destiny (Dayton); his nephew Kurt; and his niece Tammy. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mammoth Cemetery.
