We bid farewell to Goldia C. Dixon (Ava, Missouri), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 4, 2025 at the age of 94. Goldia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ebb Pruiett and Corda Pruiett (Harold); and her sister Sylvia Pinkle. She is survived by: her husband Harold Floyd Dixon; her close friend Bob Davis; her great grandchild Dale; her children, Doris Ann Totten and Dale Dixon; her siblings, Thetis Pruiett, Marvin Pruiett, Cletis Pruiett and Mae Cox; her daughters, Deloris Melton-Pearcy (John) and Wanda Anderson (Paul); her grandchildren, Leann Termin (John), Kevin Melton (Tana), Chris Melton (Tara), David Anderson (Danyel), Sarah Baumgardener (Brian Houlihan) and Sheri Roberts (Corby); and her siblings, Johnny Pruiett (Pauline) and Lou Coy (Bob Davis). She is also survived by eight great- grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greenlawn Funeral Home North. A funeral service was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dyer Cemetery.
