He is survived by: his sons, Michael Lyons of Protem, MO and Matthew Lyons (Paula) of Elkin; his grandchildren, Skylar Lyons and Avery Lyons; and his close friend Ray Strain (Sheila). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
