She was predeceased by: her parents, James Boyd and Lena Mae VanHouden (Duckworth); and her nephew Jacob VanHouden. She is survived by: her children, Shelby McMurray, Cody McMurray, Rachelle Miller and Amber McMurray; her granddaughters, Carter Ann, Rylee Ann and Wrenlee Mae; her brother Jason (Christina VanHouden); her nephew Jaron VanHouden; her niece Ryder VanHouden; and her sister Amy VanHouden. She is also survived by family, extended family, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Clinkingbeard Chapel (407 N Mansfield Rd, Ava, MO 65608). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at the Ava Cemetery.
The family requests memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
