He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Plake and Ethel Plake (Stevenson); his siblings, Elva Jean, Earline, Jerry, Margaret and Sharon; his son-in-law Steve; and his great great grandchild Glen.
He is survived by: his wife Bonita; his children, Danny Plake (Ann), Kim Baugh, Anita Baughman, Tina Smith (Greg) and Paula Dudenhoeffer (Mark); and his siblings, Beniva Hargis, Donald Plake and Kay Sanders. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc. (407 N Mansfield Rd, Ava, MO 65608). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Tabor Cemetery or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
