With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verla Jo Cornelius of Ava, Missouri, who passed away on May 30, 2025 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Viola Hall (Peterson); and her father-in-law Jackie Cornelius. She is survived by: her father Verlin Hall; her husband Jeff; her stepmother Jackie Hall; her sons, Josh Cornelius, Kalynn and Jason Cornelius; her mother-in-law Connie Cornelius; her grandchildren, Audrey, Jackie, Dalton, Corbin and Landon; her sister Vickie Toman (Charles); and her stepbrothers, Phillip Matney (Sondra) and Brian Matney (Brenda). She is also survived by numerous aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; and a host of other relatives and very dear friends.

Memorials may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
