She was predeceased by: her daughter Tracy; her son-in-law Leslie Stillings; her in-laws, Lyle and Faye Murphy; and her brother-in-law Ronnie Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Max Murphy; her sister Glenda Johnson; her children, Carla Stillings, Rodney Sexton and Jan Fleischman (Brent); and her great great grandchild Ray.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc. (407 N Mansfield Rd, Ava, MO 65608). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Tracy Murphy Memorial Scholarship, awarded by the National Honor Society, to NHS members graduating from Ava High School.
