With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lloyd Aaron Kahl of Avilla, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 24, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Lloyd may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lloyd touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Kahl and Edna Kahl (McDonald); his wife Gattye Kahl; his granddaughter Tiffany Peterson; his brothers, Herbert, Charles and Bill Kahl; Faye Collier.
He is survived by: his children, Ron Kahl (Amy) of Carthage, Rita Peterson (Steven) of Carthage and Gina Simmons of Avilla, Missouri. He is also survived by his four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
