He was predeceased by : his grandchild Mackenzie McGuire; his brother Robert Hendrikse (Bonnie); and his brother-in-law Douglas Teumer (Julie). He is survived by : his children, David Hendrikse (Robin), Laurie McGuire (Eric Zwilling) and Susan Nimrod (Steve); his grandchildren, Meghan Diven (Bobby), Casey McGuire (Kayla), Kaylie Zwilling, Kenadie Zwilling, Connor Nimrod (Jolyn), Dylan Nimrod, Keeton Nimrod and Rylee Hendrikse; his great grandchildren, Parker, Kenzie and Hadlie; and his sister-in-law Linda Kempfert (Harry).

A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory (14960 Manchester Rd, Ballwin, MO 63011). A committal service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at 740 N Mason Rd, St. Louis, MO 63141.
