He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Jr. Young and June Young; his parents-in-law, Leo and Jane Walthers; his sister Kathy Young; and his brother-in-law Michael Walthers.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Young; his sons, James Patrick Young, Jr. (Amanda) and Justin Michael Young; his grandchildren, James Patrick Young III, Eleanor Rae Young, Archibald William Young and Justin Michael Young, Jr.; his brothers, John Young III (Martha) and Michael Young (Barb); his sister-in-law Janet Witcher; and his nieces and nephews, Christy Henke (Jason), John IV Young (Natalie), Bobby Witcher and Jessica Witcher.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory (14960 Manchester Rd, Ballwin, MO 63011). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
