He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene T. Godfrey and Ann L. Godfrey; and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, David Godfrey and Jennifer Ponce (Eric); his grandchild Riley Ponce; and his siblings, Patrick Godfrey (late Betty), Jan McCarty (late Terry) and Mary Lynn Godfrey.
