He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Beldon Pewitt and Hanna Crow Pewitt; and his wife Betty Pewitt. He is survived by: his son Kenneth James Pewitt; his grandchildren, Sarah, William Pewitt and Melissa Mason; and his daughter-in-law Carrie Smith Pewitt.
