It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kurt Matthew Smith (Ballwin, Missouri), who passed away on June 29, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Smith and Tarney Smith; and his father-in-law George Stamelos. He is survived by: his spouse Loukia Smith; his children, Kyle Smith (Lexi), William Smith (Caitlin), Papou of Georgia, Graham, Hope and Theo Smith; his mother-in-law Maria; his siblings, Mona Herberg (Dan), Lenora Richter (Fred) and Burt Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Sophia Stricker (Jerry), Christina Stamelos and Nasia Stamelos.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory (14960 Manchester Rd, Ballwin, MO 63011). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Family Life Center (12550 S Forty Dr, St. Louis, MO 63141). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (16200 Manchester Rd, Ballwin, MO 63038).
