Leota S. Frieben Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leota S. Frieben of Ballwin, Missouri, born in Mexico, Missouri, who passed away on September 28, 2025 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Warren and Francis Pauline Gulick; her children, Kathleen "Kathy" Coil (Marvin), Shirley Jean Keith (Calvin) and William "Bill" Gulick (Joan); and her nieces, Denise Phears (Daryl) and Valerie Coil.
She is survived by: her husband Larry; her daughter Kristin; her grandson Will (Milah); her great grandchild Taylor; and her pets, Pansy, Key, Siamese and Black. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
A committal service will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Committal Service National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125). In 2020, with the arrival of Covid and social-distancing, Lea felt badly for all of the little trick-or-treaters, so she came up with a flyer for everyone on their street to put bowls of candy out on tables at the end of their driveways, so that the trick-or-treaters could still safely go trick-or-treating.
