He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence Gilbert and Grace Ellen Gilbert; and his sister Ann Deborah Shaw. He is survived by: his children, Gwendolyn Ellen Gilbert and Ron Gilbert; and his brother George Gilbert (Nancy).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory (14960 Manchester Rd, Ballwin, MO 63011). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:15 PM at the Valhalla Cemetery (7600 St Charles Rock Rd, St. Louis, MO 63133).
