He was predeceased by: his daughter Rachel J. Wotawa; and his parents, Clarence Peterson and Marjorie Attree-Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Sandie Peterson; his son David Ross Peterson (Tricia); his son-in-law Thomas Wotawa; his grandchildren, Taylor Soots (Alex), Ali Wotawa, Brianna Waldren (Cohen), Lexi Wotawa, Katelyn Peterson and Hailey Peterson; and his siblings, Brian Peterson (Jane), Bruce Peterson (Linda), Alan Peterson (Priscilla) and Kathy Swanson (Mark). He is also survived by other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church (1230 Big Bend Rd, Ballwin, MO 63021). A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
