It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan A. (Carr) Tietjens of Ballwin, Missouri, who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Carr and Rose Carr; and her siblings, John "Jack" Carr, Carol Komer and Kathy McCauley.
She is survived by: her husband Donald R. Tietjens; her daughters, Becky Pitzer (Nick), Julie Summers and Jeanie Knuth (Hinrich); her grandchildren, Maggie Pitzer, Nicholas Pitzer, Katie Summers, Alex Summers, Gretchen Knuth and Hannah Knuth; and her siblings, Janice Geary (Rex), Bill Carr (Kitty), Barbara Lauritzen, Laura Engnell and Thomas Carr (Jennifer).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Infant Catholic Church (627 Dennison Dr, Ballwin, MO 63021). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (16200 Manchester Rd, Ballwin, MO 63038).
