We announce the death of Charles A. Fattig of Barnard, Missouri, who passed away on October 11, 2026, at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Fattig and Marguerite Fattig (Hill); and his brother-in-law Dan Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Jason Fattig and Jennima Wenck (Kevin); his grandchildren, Jena Sydnes (Kellan) and Justin Wenck; his daughter Christi Wilson (Matthew); his grandchildren, Nate and Ellie Wilson; his daughter Cathy Miller (Bobby); his grandchildren, Bailee and Braxton Miller; and his sister Sherri Johnson (Dan). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Laura Street Baptist Church (120 S Laura St, Maryville, MO 64468). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Nodaway Memorial Gardens (22999 Imperial Rd, Maryville, MO 64468).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Laura Street Baptist Church foreign or home missions.
