We bid farewell to Samuel Reith Vanfossan of Barnard, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 10, 2025 at the age of 83. Samuel Reith touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel J. Vanfossan and Marjorie Vanfossan (Reith); his brothers, Jim Vanfossan and Ron Vanfossan; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Jean Vanfossan.
He is survived by: his wife Texans; his children, Doug Vanfossan (Lauren) and Terri McCaffrey (Jim); his grandchildren, Samantha Vanfossan (Eric Rupp), Alex Vanfossan (Amber) and Lyle Vanfossan (Alyssa); and his siblings, Larry Vanfossan (Phyllis) and Teena Turnbaugh (Ron). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Price Funeral Home (120 E 1st St, Maryville, MO 64468).
