He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Illum and Lucille Illum; his stepfather Ralph Durham; his brother Virgil Illum; and his niece Colette Illum.
He is survived by: his wife Twila Hammer; his sons, Brian Illum (Denise) and Greg Illum (Shawna); his grandchildren, Ashley Bozeman (Karl), Wes Illum, Alex Illum (Liz), Jason Illum (Rebekkah), Abby Illum and Anne Illum; his sister-in-law Kathy Illum; and his nephew Brenton Illum (Molly). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you give to the building fund for Central Assembly Full Speed Fund.
