She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Talmage and Edna Talmage (Johnson); her husband Harrel Wood; her children-in-law, Jimmy Dale Jenkins and Tanya Wood; and her siblings, Jay Talmage and Ann Slaughter.

She is survived by: her friend Selma Akers; her children, Rebecca "Becky" Jenkins, Doug Wood and Mary Diane Jenkins; her grandchildren, Sandi Hammons (Ron), Mandi Gabriele (Tom), Shanna Loughary (Cory), Jarrod Jenkins (Danielle) and Cody Jenkins; her great grandchildren, Brooke, Brennan, Lucca, Mia Bella, Kiana (Justin), Keeton (Maliyah), Keller, Reghan and Makenna; and her great great grandchildren, Micah, Gracie and Holden Todd Laramore. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
