She was predeceased by: her father Emory Hicks; her siblings, Terry Hicks and Beth Mayes; and her grandparents, Buel Edward and Mildred "Bill" Heyer.
She is survived by: her mother Sharon Hicks (Carter) of Belle; her husband Mike Thomas; her children, Leah Boyer (Shane) of Belle, Amber Peterson (Jacob) of Freeburg and Jedidiah Thomas (Emily Duesler) of Bland; her grandchildren, Alexis, Hunter, Kyndal Rae, Mackinley "Mac", Jerico, Rhett and Suttyn; and her brother Randy Hicks (Dawn). She is also survived by "children" that she had collected through the years via her children as well as many extended family members and friends.
