She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramon L. Charles and Gwendolyn Charles (Biggs); and her daughter Holly McDougal. She is survived by: her husband Dave McDougal; her daughters, Heidi Rater (Mark) and Heather Sooley (John); her sister Charlotte Pfefer (David); her sister-in-law Jean Ramsey; and her grandchildren, Richie Sooley (Caitlin), Davey Sooley, Eli Rater, Laura Rater (Travis Ellenwood) and Mark Rater. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lord of Love Lutheran Church.
