He was predeceased by: his former wife Bonnie L. Hanchett; his parents, William Henry and Virginia Wyly; his wife Dorothy Ellen Cooper; and his brother Robert.
He is survived by: his children, Richard (Linda), Diane McEwen and Pamela Carroll (Jim); and his brother Lyle (Sandy). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great children.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the McGilley & George Funeral Home (12913 Grandview Rd, Grandview, MO 64030).
