He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer A. Hopson and Eugenia May Hopson (Shafer); and his brother Michael John Hopson. He is survived by: his wife Jean Hopson; his children, Jennifer Hopson, Stephanie McLean, Tamara Haus (Paul) and Timothy Brodrick (Lesley); his siblings, Elmer Joseph Hopson and Mary Newbert; his grandchildren, Lena Contreas, Dean Parker, Aric Parker, Elizabeth Haus, Mitch Haus, Alison Brodrick, Elli Brodrick and Lukas Brodrick; and his great grandchildren, Kaydalene and Margo.
