It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Phillip Fortney of Belton, Missouri, born in Raytown, Missouri, who passed away on February 13, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his niece Marianne Fortney. He is survived by : his parents, Karen Bridenstine and Phillip Fortney (Becky); his siblings, Marc Fortney (Cassy) and Jennifer Tartaglia; his stepsisters, Tess Danielson (Brett) and Chelsey Stryker; his grandmother Shirley Sewell; his great-uncle Ron Fenton; and his nephews, Daniel, Joe Tartaglia and Eric Fortney.
