He was predeceased by : his parents, Mary Ann Bays (Schwarz) and Lewis Valmer Bays; his sisters, Valerie, Dana and Teresa; his uncle Bill Bays; and his niece Crystal Cable.

He is survived by : his wife Brandy Bays; his children, Trenton Bays, Dalton Haynes (Kinlie) and Renzee Haynes; his brothers, Mark Bays, Martin Bays (Teresa) and Donald Bays; his cousin Kenneth Bays (Andrea); and his friends, Pat, Cindy, Nick, Renee, Kevin and Annette.
