She was predeceased by : her mother Marilyn Kay Copeland Riat; and her aunt Margaret Copeland Anderson. She is survived by : her father Larry Riat of Chapman, Kansas; her aunts and uncles, Lois Deyoe (Charles) of Manhattan, Linda Crutcher (Bill) of Stillwater, Patricia Copeland of Noblesville, Herb Anderson of Glen Ellyn and Robert D. Riat of Wamego, Kansas.; her cousins, Ann Copeland of Las Vegas, Nevada and Lea Bishop (Scott) of Carmel; her children, Matthew of Zionsville and Morgan of Cary; and her cousin David Copeland (Marsha) of Excelsior Springs.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Abilene Cemetery (502 N W 21st St, Abilene, KS 67410).
